Dear Training Participant,
with this privacy information notice we inform you that BRP-Rotax GmbH & Co KG (“Rotax”) is managing the Rotax Certification Program which includes providing the training content, namely various trainings in the field of engineering and repair work, handling of the course registration and cooperation with a third party, an independent training facility (“Training Facility”), who will enter into individual training contracts based on mutually agreed terms with you and conduct the trainings autonomously.
The administration of such trainings (such as course information, timing, location, training fee, cancellation management, participation confirmation, training contracts) will be solely handled by the Training Facility.
In order to allow the Training Facility to administer and conduct the training as well as to contact you it is required that the following personal data provided by you in the course of the training registration is transferred by Rotax to the Training Facility:
The personal data to be transferred are:
• First and Last Name
• Contact details including
(i) mandatory fields such as Country, ZIP Code, City and Email-address
(ii) non-mandatory fields such as Street and Telephone number (mobile/land line)
These data will be processed solely for the purpose of the Rotax Certification Program.
We only work with such third parties who provide reasonable guarantees that appropriate technical and organizational measures are in place to ensure adequate protection of your rights.
This third party is: Steve Ogden LLC, represented by Steve Ogden being the first official trainer of the RCP.
We will store your data for the stated purposes for a period of three years from the date of the training registration with us. Data necessary for the establishment, exercise, defense of legal claims or litigation may be retained until the conclusion of the case.
You have the right to know which of your personal data we process, as well as rectification, deletion and restriction of data processing and data portability. To assert these rights or to obtain additional information, please contact us by e-mail under datenschutz@brp.com or privacyofficer@brp.com
If you believe that we process your data contrary to applicable law, you can file a complaint with the Austrian data protection authority or with the other competent supervisory authority (esp. In the EU Member State of your place of residence or work).
