Sarno (track location) is a town and comune of Campania, Italy, in the province of Salerno, 30 km northeast from the city of Salerno and 40 km east from the city of Naples.
Naples (Italian: Napoli, meaning "new city") is the capital of the Italian region Campania and the third-largest municipality in Italy, after Rome and Milan.
The city, situated on the Gulf of Naples, on the western coast of Southern Italy is located halfway between two volcanic areas, the volcano Mount Vesuvius and the Phlegraean Fields. The metropolitan area of Naples is the second most populated in Italy and one of the largest in all of Europe with around 3.8 million people.
Naples' historic city centre is the largest in Europe and an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995, with a wide range of culturally and historically significant sites nearby. It covers 1,700 hectars (4,200 acres) and encloses 27 centuries of history. There are 448 historical churches in the city of Naples.
The islands of Procida, Capri and Ischia can all be reached from Naples by hydrofoils and ferries. Sorrentor and the Amalfi Coast are situated south of the city, while the Roman ruins of Pompeii, Herculaneum, Oplontis and Stabiae - which were destroyed in the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD - are also visible nearby.

Drivers without an EU driving licence are allowed to drive with an official translation or an International Drivers Permit (IDP) that accompanies the foreign licence.
Furthermore, there are several legal regulations that apply for driving in Italy which also need to be fulfilled when driving rental cars. The driver is expected to carry a replacement tire and the respective tools needed, reflective vests for driver and passengers as well as warning triangles. The reflector vest must be worn by any person carrying out repairs when outside the vehicle and the vehicle is stationary on the road.
The warning triangle is mandatory, and it must be displayed on the road to warn oncoming drivers that your vehicle has problems. A replacement bulb set is also mandatory. First-aid kit is advised but not compulsory.
The usage of mobile devices is banned and if caught you will be heavily fined.
HOW TO COME THERE:
International flights: The nearest international airports to Sarno are Naples or Rome.
Naples is appr. 40 km away from Sarno and it takes about 35 min by car or 1 hour by train.
Rome is about 240 km north of Sarno. It takes 2 hours by car and about 3 hours by train.
Distance of kart track is located outside or Sarno, just 6 km from the city centre. There is no metro in Sarno and generally no easy accessability with public transport, so this option is not recommended.
We would recommend to take a rental car at your arrival airport.
