In Terms of the tightened Covid-19 pandemic situtaion all over Europe, the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy has cancelled the final race in Genk from 6th to 8th November, 2020.
„It was no easy decision, but it has to be done because of the continuing Covid-19 situation. The health and safety of the participants has the highest priority for us. Moreover we want to offer a fair and sporty competition that is not given if not everyone has the possibility to take part at the race. We would like to thank all the people supporting the RMC EuroTrophy under the current conditions and wish you all a healthy and safe winter. Hopefully we can welcome you all again at the Rotax MAX Challenge Winter Cup 2021, which will take place from 19th to 21st of February in Campillos", stated organizer Meik Wagner.
Because of the cancellation of the final race of the RMC EuroTrophy, the last race in Adria has been the decision of this years' championship. So, the new champions are the belgian Kai Rillaerts (JJ Racing) in the Junior MAX, the swede Mathilda Olsson (Strawberry Racing) in the Senior MAX, the belgian Xander Przybylak (Bouvin Power) in the MAX DD2 and the german Sebastian Rumpelhard (RS Competition) in the MAX DD2 Masters category.
